On Monday, February 16, 2026, the Sun City Players Community Theater Readers Theater Ensemble presented a delightful evening of wit, warmth, and heartfelt storytelling with How to Be Happy—Though Married. The audience responded with laughter, recognition, and enthusiastic applause, making it a truly memorable performance.

Adapted and directed by Ray Schiel from Edward J. Hardy’s 1885 classic (public domain), the production explored the timeless ups and downs of married life with humor, insight, and tenderness — proving that Victorian advice can still resonate today.

If you missed the live performance — or would simply like to enjoy it again — you can watch the full production here:

Congratulations to the entire Readers Theater Ensemble for a wonderful evening of community theater at its best.
